hey Mr. Dohr, Ive been playing horn for about 5 years now. I am looking for exercises that will help me develop a high register and keep up the nice warm horn tone.
Do you have any tips. I play on a shilke 27 mouthpiece.

even if i don't want to push my lip
i should do that because without pushing lip,
there is wrong sound

Hi my name is Kyle, I was wondering what mouthpiece you play on and what mouthpiece work's best for the Alexander 103. I have an Alexander 103 and I'm changing mouthpiece's right now from a schilke 27 to a schilke 29. But I would like to know what you think works best for the horn so maybe it can help me out in the future, thank you. I look forward to listening to you play in Davies Hall; I go to the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

Hello, I am french and I practise the Horn since 10 years, I don't know you but, thanks to a friend, I discovered your interpretation of the concerto for 4 horns by Schumann...and I only can say one thing: wow!!! you are the best horner I have ever heard! You are now as good, or better than Clavenger! But I have a question...what was your horn during this concert? On this website's homepage I saw you have an Alexander 103 (I've got the same) but the Horn you use had a pretty nice sound.
So I hope you read my post and I hope for you a long career, and I hope you too to see you again, playing a horn concerto.
